Job Overview
At AdLiven, the Game Asset Artist plays a crucial role in creating visually appealing and engaging playable ads. You'll work closely with game developers and producers to bring mobile games to life in interactive ad formats. Your artistic skills will be instrumental in crafting compelling visual elements that capture the essence of each game and drive user engagement.
Responsibilities
- Create mockups and storyboards for playable ad concepts, visualizing the user journey and key interactions
- Design and produce custom game assets including characters, environments, props, and UI elements
- Prepare, export and optimize developer ready asset packs for the development team
- Collaborate closely with game developers to ensure seamless integration of assets into playable ads
- Maintain consistency with original game aesthetics while adapting designs for optimal ad performance
- Stay current with mobile gaming art trends and best practices in ad design
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Art, Game Art, or equivalent experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating game art and UI/UX design
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in creating and optimizing assets for mobile games or web applications
- Understanding of game design principles and mobile gaming trends
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for mobile platforms
- Familiarity with animation principles and ability to create basic animations
- Knowledge of sprite sheet creation and optimization
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work within established brand guidelines
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
